Hopefully not named after one of my least favorite to look at bars in Echo Park, Little Joy is Fab, the drummer from the Strokes new side project. A definite departure from what the NYC Strokes have done, Little Joy has a lo-fi, airy sound that one is able to deduce upon hearing, that this record was made in California, not unlike something Brian Wilson and the boys would’ve produced.
