'Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix' is set to be released on May 25th. The tracks I've heard so far are all quite good. They do not stray from their well honed pop sensibilities on this record. Here's two non 'Diary' tracks from the defunct Sunny Day Real Estate. One from 'LP2' and 'How It Feels To Be Something On'. I wonder if they could pull Nate Mendel away from the stadium concerts to form a reunion? Seems to be the trend these days.

Stadium Love.

Emily Haines and Metric are releasing their first album since 2005's 'Live it Out'. 'Fantasies' seems to delve into more mainstream and accessible material, which isn't a bad thing in this case. Hazard Pay

From a weekend of listening to 'Hazards of Love', this is the tune that's standing out for me, coming in second, to "The Wanting Comes In Waves" which is available at other sites on The Hype Machine.
